On Tuesday Sept 6 2005 at 1:45 PM Fay **Granny** Bertrand (Nee Lucas) was laid to rest in Kamsack Sask. She was buried with her mother and sister in a very small, simple ceremony. In attendance were her son Dwayne with his wife Susan, along their son's Roy and Tomas Bertrand. Also Christie Doyle of Kamsack. The small quiet sevice was led by Rev. Thom Carnahan of the St. Andrews United Church in Canora Sask. The weather was beautiful, but a bit windy. The family laid flowers on the graves of her mother and sister as well as a large bouquet for Fay. After the service most of the flowers were donated to the old folks home in Kamsack in Fay's name. She will be dearly missed by all.
