Moses Gross, 1837 to 1868

Moses was a brother of Isaac and Raphael and he worked with them in Worcester and possibly Boston.  He was a members of Temple Israel in Boston. The Minute Book of Temple Israel in Boston shows that seats were purchased for Moses and Mrs. Moses in each of 1866 and 1867.  The same Minute Book records his death and the Board's permission to bury him in the (then) new Jewish Cemetery at Wakefield, MA.  After his death, Mrs. Moses does not appear in those records again.

He died at the rather young age of 31.

There is a second Moses Gross who worked many years in Worcester and stayed with Leopold Strauss when Raphael sold his interests and started a new business with his son Henry.  I have not yet traced the parents of this second Moses.
