    CZILLINGER-HORVATH, Emil March 28, 1934 - December 23, 2019 Emil will be missed by his son Emil Jr., his daughter Lynn (Calvin) and extended family in Hungary, Ontario and the United States. Emil was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie, sister Gabriella and brother Otto. Emil came to Canada from Hungary in 1957 with fellow Forestry faculty and students from Sopron University. He graduated from UBC in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and obtained his Registered Professional Forester (RPF) designation in 1982. He worked in the forestry industry for 40 years, including 20 years in the private sector and 20 years for the BC Provincial Government. He took great pride in his family and enjoyed working on his house and yard. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC.     Clarence A. Clayton, of 510 Admiral St., Woodstock, died at Woodstock General Hospital on Monday. He was born in Harrington, a son of the late Albert and Caroline Clayton. He was employed with Maple Dairies in Woodstock for 29 years, starting in 1929, and then with the Oxford County board of education for eight years prior to retiring in 1971. He was a member of Central United Church where he was active in the companion club and was a life member of King Solomon's Masonic Lodge, No. 43, A.F. and A.M. He is survived by his wife the former Sara G. (Swayzie), son Frank of Toronto, daughter Marjorie Horvath of Victoria, B.C., grandchildren Jim, Michelle and David Clayton and Emil and Lynn Horvath. He was the last surviving member of his own family. Friends will be received at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 134 Riddell St., Woodstock, Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., where the funeral and committal services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Donald Moore of Central United Church officiating. Burial will be at Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the rehab unit of Woodstock General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

    Clarence married Sara Gwendolyn SWAYZIE on 25 Aug 1934 in Otterville, Oxford, Ontario. Sara (daughter of Benjamin Elias SWAYZIE and Mary Elizabeth JORDAN) was born on 16 Jul 1909 in East Oxford, Oxford, Ontario; died on 8 Nov 2009 in Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario; was buried in Hillview Cemetery, Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario.     CLAYTON- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday November 8th 2009. Sadie G. Clayton (nee Swayzie) of Woodstock in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence A. Clayton (1988). Dear mother of Marjorie Czillinger-Horvath and her husband Emil of Victoria, B.C. and Frank and his wife Jackie Orange of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Jim (Sue), Michelle, David (Sherron), Emil, Lynn (Calvin) and great grandchildren Brittani, Amanda, Matthew, Sara, Andrew and Connor. Predeceased by her daughter in law Karen Clayton, two sisters and one brother. Sadie was a longtime member of Faith (Central) United Church.     Albert and Carolina both came to Canada on the SS Dominion in May 1875 but they didn't know each other.

    FUNDERAL OF A. CLAYDON

    The funeral of A. Claydon, Eastwood, who passed away in the Woodstock Hospital on Monday, was held from his late residence in Eastwood on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. G.A. Barnard of Innerkip had charge of the service and interment was made in the Hillview United Cemetery.

    The pallbearers were: Alfred Clark, Albert Clark, Walter Clark, George Clark, James Clark and Ernest Clark.
