Note, if the u/i males and females in the 1830 census are his children, they would have to be by a first marriage, since he only married Nancy in 1821. However, the age disparity between himself and Nancy makes this quite possible. With the other 20-30 female in the household in 1830, though, it is possible that a sister and children or brother's widow and children were living with him.
