. 1798 March 3rd, Saturday, PRINTER'S MOTHER DIES.
Proclamations & British news, but no local news. On the third column of the third page is the following death notice:
"Departed this life on Monday morning last, after a few days' severe illness, Mrs. Jerusha Simons, wife of Mr. Titus Simons, of this town, & mother of the printer of this paper.

WILL of TGS1 the UEL: To my nephew Titus Simons (my brother Walter's son) $25 to be laid out in sheep and cows and to be put out in shares for him, until he shall become of age, when he is to receive the whole,  but in the event of his death while a minor, the legacy to be given to his sister Eliza.

Jerusha married Titus Geer SIMONS, UEL [.1st] on 1 Feb 1774 in Hartland, Cumberland Co., Vermont. Titus (son of John SIMONS, .1 and Sarah GEER) was born on 7 Jun 1743 in Enfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut; died on 19 Aug 1829 in Flamborough East Twp., Wentworth Co., Ontario; was buried in Christ Church Flamborough Cemetery. 1. Mary Ann SIMONS was born in 1783 in Hartford, Windsor Co., Vermont; died on 10 Aug 1830 in Belleville, Hastings Co., Ontario.
2. Amelia Anna SIMONS was born on 7 May 1793 in Kingston, Frontenac Co., Ontario; died on 14 May 1837 in Dumfries, Brant Co., Ontario; was buried on 17 May 1837 in St. George United Cemetery.
