HIS MOTHER LUELLA MARRIED EVERETTE GOODMURPHY IN PICTON AT THE UNITED CHURCH PARSONAGE, ON NOVEMBER 26/1938.
HIS MOTHER AND EVERETT WERE LIVING IN WELLINGTON IN 1940.
NOT SURE IF LEONARD STAYED WITH HIS GRANDMOTHER??

LEONARD MARRIED BARBARA KLEINSTUBER IN 1952, AND FROM 1952 TO 1970, THEY HAD SIX CHILDREN.
BARBARA PASSED AWAY WEEKS AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO THEIR LAST CHILD IN JUNE 1970.

NINE YEARS AFTER LEONARD'S WIFE PASSED AWAY (JULY 1970), LEONARD STARTED SEEING BEATRICE HINEMAN (A WIDOW).
THE FAMILY MOVED TO PICTON IN 1984,
LEONARD RETIRED IN 1991.

Everette was killed in a car accident outside Cherry Valley, Ontario
Everette was first married to Effie Bingham.
He was re-married to Louella Mae Baverstock on November 26, 1938 at the Picton United Church parsonage by the Rev. David Wren.
Everette and Louella adopted Leonard. Leonard became the lighthouse keeper at Point Petre. As of 1991, he was at Point Pelee on Lake Erie.

Russell married Luta Leona YOUNG on 27 Apr 1929 in Bloomfield, Hallowell Township, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Luta (daughter of Thomas Orban YOUNG and Lillian Beatrice TUTTLE) was born on 26 Sep 1911 in Cherry Valley, Athol Twp, Prince Edward County, Ontario; died on 25 Sep 1958. The Birth Records for Prince Edward County show that Joel was born on October 15, 1871 not October 14, 1872. Also the Birth Notice states that the parents were living on a farm in Sophiasburg twp.
According to Charles Goodmurphy, his father Joel was born in a little red house situated at the NW corner of the Gilead and Town Line Roads. The house sat on a 30 acre parcel of land.
The little red house was eventually moved to the west side of the TownLine Road, and was used for a honey house (beekeeping). The little red house still stands today (January 1996).
Joel and Lillie Belle were probably married on Sept 16,1892.
It is believed that Joel and Lillie Belle lived in the little red house for some years and were there in 1912 when Lillie Belle passed away at the age of 35.

Joel remarried to Charlotte (Lottie) Vancleaf on May 22, 1915 in Picton, Ontario.

Joel and wives Lillie Belle and Lottie are buried in the Wellington Village Cemetery.

Over the years, Joel and Lottie moved about several times.

In 1925, they moved to Buck Trumpours place (east of Niles Corners), then back to the Town Line.
In 1926, they moved to the Gore Road, then in 1930 they moved back to the Town Line, south of where Clifford and Gladys McFaul had their Pea Viner Processing Station.
The Gerty Winters house at this site was moved in later years to Wellington near where the Texaco Service Station was located.
From 1932 to 1940, Joel and Lottie lived on the Swamp College Road on the Hutchinson Family property (where the Zachariah family lived in the 1960's).

Joel died in 1940 and Lottie moved to Wellington, first to an apartment over top of the Bank of Nova Scotia, then across from Bill Davern's store, then to the Town Line Road - just south of St. Francis of Rome Roman Catholic Church (to the Mickey Donovan house). She lived there until she died in 1954.
