Notes for CELIA (EDNA) WATSON:
Celia (Edna) Watson married John Cumbers and had two sons, Ernest, (who worked for City Dairy, and married Ruby Young,) and George, (who worked for Eatons, and had two daughters, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Cumbers) Todd and Dorothy Cumbers.
When Celia's husband John died of Typhoid Fever, she married his brother, Henry, and had a daughter Ethel, who married Jack Millner. When Henry died, (also of Typhoid Fever), Celia (Edna) then married Mr. Wickson, and had a daughter, Ella. Although not a Cumbers, she was raised as Ernie and George's half sister. Ella's son Douglas Gudmonson, still keeps in touch with Dorothy, Betty and Aunt Ruby. (Aunt Ruby died March 26, 2000.)

Edna married John William CUMBERS on 19 Jun 1900 in Holy Trinity Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba. John (son of John CUMBERS and Elizabeth STANTON) was born on 20 Feb 1872 in 9 Havelock Road, London, England; died on 04 May 1904 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; was buried in St James cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba. 1. Harold George CUMBERS was born on 01 May 1901 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; died in 1972 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; was buried in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
2. Ernest Henry CUMBERS was born on 31 May 1903 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; died on 03 Sep 1977 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; was buried in Elmwood cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
3. Ethel Grace CUMBERS was born on 06 Aug 1904 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; died on 08 Dec 1977 in London, Ontario; was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London Middlesex London MX-141.
