Martha Singletary that married James W. McKneely. Martha's father, according to this information, was Benjamine S. Singletary and her mother was Margaret Bunch. Martha had two brothers - one of them according to the information I received - was Lewis Singletary born between 1790 and 1800 in South Car9lina and died in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana married to a Nancy McKneely on 21 May 1824 in Louisiana. Another, according to East Feliciana Parish Probate Records and Martha's marriage laicense to William Heathwas Benjamin Singletary. The probate records was for tutorship of her minor daughter Margaret Sarah McKneely (who married a Robards. The interesting part is that the entry was dated June 28, 1830 and her Marriage license to William Heath reflects June 29, 1830. Apparently June of 1830 was a busy year for her. Also, according to information received, her first husband, James W. McKneely's mother was also a Singletary, Sarah B, daughter of Thomas Singletary and Lydia An Perdriau.
