    Notes:

Anne Roper is listed as a servant in the 1861 census, single ,age 20 , born in Canada West, religion W. methodist.
In the 1881 census,Mcgilivray Twp.she is listed as a widow.aged 38,with her daughter Elizabeth Cook age 13 .both living in household of Nevin Low.
In the 1891 census the transcriber incorrectly spelled the last name as Ketsle when it should be Westell.
Annie Westell, age 50,methodist ,birthplace Ontario, living with her husband James and his son Omar and his daughter in law Susan,in Clandeboye Biddulpth Township.
Shortly after going to Deep River Michigan she dies in Feb.1904.That same year her husband leaves Clandeboye to live in Kincardine with his son Omar Westell.
Elizabeth Ann Priscilla Roper married William James Cook and their son Benjamin was a train conductor on the Pierre Marquette from Sanilac County up into the upper peninsula of Michigan where they settled temporarily into Schoolcraft County. They moved on to Rice Lake, WI. His brother William Henry Cook was a blacksmith that went back and forth between Sanilac County, Arenac/Bay County area and Detroit. Elizabeth Ann the daughter changed her name to Lydia Anvida and married George Collins. The sister Mary Louisa only lived to about age 27 and I'm not 100% sure as to why. According to my information, she married James Waistell in Exeter, Huron, Ontario June 29, 1882. That was only a couple of years after her first husband died. I've seen his last name spelled Westle, Waistel, and Waistell and even once accidentally interpreted as Kestell.
