    Notes:

    I have not known of a James to be a son of John and Lucinda. The only source to indicate that is the article on John Carey's suicide in The Port Huron Times Herald 23 Oct 1874. Could James have been a cousin of Nathan?

    Whether James Cary is the child of John and Lucinda Cary is unverified. In some ancestry trees the name is confused with Jane Cary who, with her brother, Samuel, was living with Julia Cary Dingman according to the
    1851 Census of Canada East, Canada West, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

    James married Anne MYRON in Abt. 1849 in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. Anne (daughter of Michael MYRON and Judith DOYLE) was born in 1831 in Ontario, Canada; died on 24 Jun 1894 in Port Huron, St Clair, Michigan, USA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

    The source for John Carey's death is an article in The Port Huron Times Herald, 23 Oct 1874. It states that he died of suicide and was found hanging in the barn belonging to his son, James. I do not know of a son named James in the family. Could James have been a cousin of Nathan?
    The 1891 Census of CA lists a John Carey living with the Findley McDonald family. Highly doubtful that this is my John Cary.
