Son of Charles M. & Martha Delling, born September 4, 1859, in Almer Township, Tuscola County, Michigan. Married Sarah M. Guilds, October 13, 1880. She was born February 24, 1862, in Harwick Township, Kent County, Ontario, & came to Tuscola County with her parents in 1871. Mr. Delling lived with his parents 6 years after his marriage, & October 27, 1887, moved onto the farm where he now lives. Children born to them one, Emma E., born October 10, 1881.

Harvey married Sarah Matilda GUILDS on 18 Oct 1880 in Cass City, Tuscola Co., Michigan. Sarah (daughter of Everitts GUILDS and Rebecca Jane WILLSON, .2) was born on 28 Feb 1862 in Chatham, Harwich Twp., Kent Co., Ontario; died on 26 Jun 1946 in Caro, Tuscola Co., Michigan; was buried in Elkland Cemetery.
