NOTE 1./ Georgia Cherokee Land Lottery, 1832. Section #50, Eleventh District, Second Section, Cherokee, granted to Alfred Royal, residence # 535 in Dooly County, GA. Participants were allow to enter prior to the first day of January, 1838. Land was located in northern Georgia creating the two northwestern counties. I have no proof Grandfather Alfred ever took possession. 6/24/2002

Alfred married Lydia STEPHENS about 1830 in Dooly County, Georgia. Lydia was born in 1810 in Sampson County, North Carolina; died on 01 Apr 1881 in Turner County, Georgia; was buried in Mary Henderson Cemetery, Turner Co., GA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
