    • Gertrude is the daughter of Ida Byrd Simpson of South Dakota & William P Redmond of Rhode Island.

      . 1915 Aug 19, Messes Helen Simpson, Pearl Williams & Gertude Redmond of Jackson, are with Mr Simpson to the Jim Williams ranch, Sunday, where Mr Simpson is stopping for a short time with his tourist party. The girls returned to Jackson Tuesday.
      . 1918 Jun 27 - Mrs. W P Redmond & Miss Gerturde came down from Crystal Creek last Friday afternoon, returning Sunday. Shortly after they crossed it, the Turpin bridge of Gros Centre washed out & they were compelled to return by the high water trail. The washout rather isolates the Redmonds who had expected to age frequent trips to Jackson during the summer in their car.
      - Miss Gertrude Redmond visited with Miss Pearl Williams at the Ji Williams ranch on Aspen Ridge the forepart of last week.

      . 1924 Sep 18 - Poplar Local Couple Have Pretty Ranch Home Wedding
      At high noon, Sunday Sept 14 there occurred the marriage of Miss Gertrude M Redmond of Kelly to Byron McCain of this city, Rev. Beaty officiating. Ceremony took place at the Red Rock ranch, the home of the bride's parents, MR MRs W P Redmond.
      Only the immediate families were present, Mr. Redmond gave the bride away, Miss Ella McCain was bridesmaid & Allen Stud was best man. The ranch house was very prettily decorated with autumn leaves & flowers. After the wedding a dinner were served to the guest. Both birds & gloom are well & favorably known throughout Jackson's Hole, Bryron having lived her the past 6 years & his bride even longer. The families from which these 2 young people spring are among the best in this section of the state.

      . 1938 Jul 14 - Mrs WP Redmond & her dau. Mrs BH McCain, with Mrs. Crandall, sister of Mrs. Redmond, have gone to Montana for a short visit. Mrs. McCains 2 young daughters, Patricia & Joanne, accompanied them.

      . 1941 Jul 3 - Mrs Wm P Redmond returned last Sunday from Los Angles, Calif. where she made a brief visit with her drug. Mrs BH Cain & family. Her granddaughter, Patricia McCain, came home with her to spend the summer at the Red Rock ranch.
      Mr & Mrs Fernie Hubbard & dau. Nancy left last Saturday for Gandy, Colorado, where Mr. Hubbard attended the Hereford cattle sale held there. They returned home Wednesday.

      . 1961 Aug 10 - Former resident death. Services were held Monday at St. John's Episcopal church for Res. Gerturde Kavanagh, onetime resent of Jackson Hole. She was the daughter of the late Wm. & Ida Redmond & was born on the ranch now known as the Hanson place. She passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, after a long illness.
      Surving are husband, Lawrence Kavanagh,, a brother Lawrence Redmond & his wife, a sister Dorothy Hubbard & husband Ferne;
      2 daughters: Mrs Joan Nelson & Mrs LeeBurrows & 3 grandchildren.
      Burial in the family plot in Jackson Hillside Cemetery, Pall bearers were Merritt & Howard Ferrin, Mann McCain, Jim Merrill, Harry Brown & Harry Barker Jr.
