    • Marietta kept a book "Our Family Register" copyright 1905 starting with Leonard Dean. Much information was taken from this book. Found in the back pages of this book was the following entry----------------
      Extraordinary Events--------- "In the fall of 1898 we buried our dear Babe Margie in a few days after - Clara was nearly burned to death but God saw fit to leave her with us and we thank Him." "December fourth we left our native city of Tonawanda, N.Y. and came to help care for the motherless children of Charlie Dean, at Carrolton, Mi. We lived nearly 2 years then moved into Saginaw City on Sherman St."
