    • Born in Ireland, according to the death record of her daughter Nancy in 1920.

      From notes made by Lola (Passmore) Falconer:

      Great Grandmother (Jane McClure) Magill used to drive the oxen to help clear the stumps. She used to go to "borrow some fire" from "Aunt Leezie" (or Lisee?) and Uncle Tommy McClure (i.e. her brother and sister-in-law) on the farm that backed theirs on the 4th line. Great Grandmother Magill walked from her farm to Streetsville with a basket of butter, traded it for chinaware, and carried it home.
