  Information about William Fraser and his descendants comes from the document " Association of Ontario Land Surveyors Committee on Biography" [https://www.aols.org/sites/default/files/Fraser-T.pdf]. William Fraser served in the Royal Regiment in New York during the American Revolution. After the war, he and his wife settled as United Empire Loyalists in Matilda Township in Dundas County in about 1784. He was granted 1000 acres of land for his service.
