      William Hartshorne's three oldest children, legacies of plate, furniture & money; the rest of the real & personal estate is left to brothers Obadiah Bowne & Richard Saltar, who are also made executors.

      asking that letters of administration on the estate of their aunt, who died intestate, may be granted to their brother, Thomas Hunloke, of Burlington.

WILL of Catherine Bowne: Inventory of the personal estate (£1,685. 14.6, 2 Japan dressing boxes, £2, 19 oz. of plate at 8 sh., a Bible & 5 small books & a bond of Obadiah Bowne & Richard Saltar for £1600), made by Thomas Hunloke, the administrator of the estate, & appraised by Michael Newbold & Joseph Reckless.       Frances Bowne, widow of John, enters through her attorney, Thomas Gordon, a renunciation of the £400, left her by her husband's will, & demands of the estate what the law allows her.

      1st wife.
      The children of William Hartshorne & Catherine Bowne were as follows:
      i. Margaret Hartshorne was born 03 9mo 1704. She married William Mott, son of Gershom Mott & Catherine Bowne. She died in 1745.

      ii. Richard Hartshorne was born 28 3mo 1708. He died in 1735; at sea. 
He was a mariner. He resided at Middletown, Monmouth Co., NJ. He left a will on 16 Jan 1735; proved 19 Nov 1735.

      iii. William Hartshorne was born 8mo 31 1709. He married Mary Reid, daughter of John Reid, on 21 Dec 1741; lic., 1st husband. He died 12mo 22 1746. 
He left a WILL on 17 Mar 1745/46; inventory 10 Apr 1746. - - - [1]
