. Burgis Myers & his family moved to Missouri just after the Civil War. Burgis Myers has a son, Abe Myers, that was one of the best school teachers of his day in Walker County. This Abe Myers went to Missouri & taught in that state. He later went to Oklahoma & taught in a government school in that state
