      THE CRAWFORD COUNTY NEWS, Roberta, Ga. Friday, May 30, 1913
      Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Braswell died at her home here Saturday afternoon, May 24th., at 4:30, where she had been confined for only a short while. The remains was interred in the Culloden Cemetery, the funeral sevices was conducted by Elder I. D. Grant, Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. She leaves, besides a host of relatives, friends and grandchilden, four children, Messrs. G. V. and G. O. Braswell and Miss Della Braswell, of Roberta, and Mrs. A. A. Mathews of Musella. Mrs. Braswell was born at Culloden in Monroe County, on the 5th day of November,
      1849, and was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Van Buren Horn, and was married on the 16th day of May, 1868. Mrs. Braswell joined the Primitive Baptist Church in 1890, at Salem, and was baptized by Elder I. D. Grant, where she had been a conscientious member every sence. The breaved family have our deepest sympathy and with them we shall strive to met their dear mother in our home beyound the skies.
