• Notes

  NOTE 1./ Moses Chancellor was born in SC but relocated in about 1818 with his wife and three children to Autauga Co., AL as part of a colony organiz ed by his father, Jeremiah. Sometime after the 1840 Census, Moses and h is family migrated to Texas, possibly following his Uncle William in 1843. By 1848, Moses and his family were living near Myrtle Springs, Texas.
