    • John and his sister Mary came to Marysville probably after 1850. At the time of the 1861 census, John was working away from his family, while his very pregnant wife Catherine and her three children were living with the family of Laurence Malone - the census has them all listed as 'family'. By about 1869 they moved to Sombra Twp, Lambton County. John and Catherine had 10 children.
