    • Mrs. Leila Durant was living at 319 Main St. in Welington, Ontario for the past few years and passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 1990 in the Prince Edward County Hospital in her 86th year.

      Her late husband, Ellis Durant, passed away many years ago.

      The obituary stated that she was also survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lois Martin of Oshawa, and her nieces Olive (Simonds) McDonald, Jean (Moreland) Chase, Ruth (Moreland) Southhorn, Helen (Moreland) Hanthorn, and nephews, Allan and Jack Moreland.
      She was buried in the Carrying Place Cemetery Annex on Friday, August 3rd, the officiating minister was the Rev. C. Dickson.

      Mrs. Durant posessed several pictures of her family, and had a five generation picture going back to John and Susan.
