The Class of 1922 Princeton
THE CLASS reports that Mr. George Rose died peacefully Apr. 2, 1991, after a winter of declining health, in Indianapolis. He is survived by his widow, Ernistine Bradford Rose; his son & daughterinlaw, Dr. George B. & Dr. Helen N. Rose; & a grandchild, Elizabeth Rose,
George was born in Washington, D.C., in Sept. 1900. After Princeton, he received a law degree from the Univ. of Pennsylvania, returned to Washington as a private attorney, & later practiced with the N.L.R.B. George moved to Indianapolis, following in the footsteps of his family who had been early pioneers. He practiced there for over 40 years, specializing in labor & constitutional law. He wrote many articles & a book about labor relations.
Church, civic activities, & the Boy Scouts of America kept him very involved in the community. He was a Presbyterian deacon, Sunday school leader, & elder at the Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. - - -
