Her 92 birthday was celebrated quietly on Friday by Mrs. Albert McCutcheon, a long time resident of Acton. She lives at 77 Young St. with her daughter Mrs. W Strutters & Mr. Strutters and is in reasonably good health for her age.
Mrs. McCutcheon was born in Everton on the Jackson family century farm where her nephew still lives. She came to Acton from the farm in 1942.
Her other daughter Mrs. Lula Sinclair, granddaughters, a sister Mrs. McDaniel & 2 nieces, Miss Ruby McDaniel & Mr & Mrs. Jerold Foggett of Toronto visited during the birthday.

1974 Sep 11, OBITUARY, HARRIET McCUTCHEON, oldest resident dies:
Harriet Mabel McCutcheon, 96, of 77 Young St., possibly the oldest resident of Acton, died in Kitchener on August 31.
Mrs. McCutcheon was born to Mr and Mrs W R Jackson on Apr 3, 1878 in Everton, Ontario. On April 3, 1907 she married Albert McCutcheon. The couple moved to Acton in 1942 from Ospring and had been officiated with the United Church.
The deceased is survived by 2 daughters, Marjorie, Mrs. W. Struthers and Lula, Mrs S Sinclair, both of Acton and 3 sisters Mrs Marg Hall of Lucknow; Mrs Minnie McDaniel, Toronto and Mrs Laura Brimston of Hannah, Alberta.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert & 3 brothers, Richard Jackson, California, Irwin, Jackson, Everton and Wm. Jackson of Acton.
The funeral took place on Sep 3 at the Rumley Shoemaker Funeral Home with Rev W Eric Nelson officiating, Interment was at Everton Cemetery.
