      Obituary:
      . 1972 Jan 5. Thomas John Patterson 90, a resident of Centralia for the past 82 years, died Tuesday in a Centralia hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1881, in Missouri and came to this area from there. His family homesteaded in the little Hanaford Valley in the late 1880s. He later moved to Seminary Hill & Salzar Valley, where he had a dairy farm. He had lived in downtown Centralia for the past 14 years. He was an early Agnew Mill employee.
      Survivors include his widow, Maude S., Centralia; 3 daughters, Mrs. Ira T. (Aletha) Hastings, Tacoma; Mrs. Oscar J. (Eva) Forsberg, Tacoma, & Mrs. Harold A. (Wilma) Matz, Seattle; 8 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, & 1 nephew, Vern Patterson, Raymond. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia, with Chaplain Richard E. Barada officiating. Interment will follow at Washington Lawn Cemetery, Centralia
