. 2011 Jul 16 - I have a little story about this Monument. John &Jessie are my great grandparents. On a genealogy trip about 15 years ago (maybe 20) I went to the cemetery to take pictures of their graves. When I found it Jessie's name was not listed on the stone. I called my grandma, Lorna Prior Newans, & she said that she was living in London at the time of Jessie's death & they took her casket on the train to be buried next to John. She was told that the funeral home would take care of the engraving of Jessie's name on the stone. I told her that it had not been done, so one of grandma's cousins, Leta Henderson who lived nearby, took care of having it engraved. I am thankful I was able to take that trip & discover the omission of her name. Susan Parris Johnson.
