Obituary:
Funeral services for Harry S Purvis, 57 of 1709 27th St, died Wed. at Jefferson City., Mo, will be 3 pm. Sat. Burial in Glendale Masonic Cemetery. Mr Purvis, an employee of the Cribben Sexton Co., Chicago, Il, apparently was in good health before he left Des Moines for Jefferson City. He suffered a stroke.
Mr. Purvis born in Ontario,Canada, has been a Des Moines resident for 25 years, before coming here from Petoskey, Mich.
He was a member of the Shrine Blue lodge & the First Church of christ, Scientist. he is survived by is widow, dau. Betty Ann Puris; his mother Mrs J H Purvis, Des Moines, sister Mrs Ruth Hostier, Lincoln Neb, & one brother Howard Purvis, Des Moines.
