- 1908 Sep 21, Clinger-Grow. News as been received here of the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Grow, dau. of Mrs Myra Grow of this city & Thomas Olinger of Lansing. The wedding was quietly celebrated onFri. Sep 18, at the home of james Hamilton in GrandRapids. The young couple left immediately for Lansing where they will go to housekeeping. For several years the bride has been a student of music at Grand Rapids & has won recognition as a musician. She has many fiends here. Mr. Olinger, too is quite well known here he having been at one time an employee of the West Michigan nurseries.

. Elizabeth Grower Olinger - would come to California several times a year to spend time with her son Thomas Lawrence Olinger and his family. I was very lucky to know my Great Grandmother. by her great granddaughter.

'She was born June 10, 1920, in Holland, Michigan, to Thomas & Elizabeth (Grow) Olinger. Mollie married George Fredrick Ranney on June 6, 1940, in Grand Rapids. She raised her children and also did some modeling. Fashion and looking good were always important to Mollie. She was also an artist known for her portraits in water colors, pastels, pen & ink.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George F. Ranney Sr., her second husband, Blair Zibell; 3 children - an infant daughter, Patricia and sons, Thomas and Robert Ranney;
2 brothers, Lawrence & Theodore Olinger; 2 sisters, Betty Smith & Lorraine Brown."

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann, age 77, widow of Thomas M. Olinger, formerly of 157 Campbell Place N E, Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday afternoon.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Lorraine) Brown,
Mrs. James (Betty) Smith, both of Flint,
Mrs. George (Mollie) Ranney of Belding, 2 sons, Theodore J. of Haslett, Michigan, Lawrence of Granada Hills, Calif.;
10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Metcalf Chapel, Grand Rapids at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Ned Burr McKenney of Park Congregational Church, will officiate. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
