      Elizabeth "Liz" Mattingly, 55, of Westfield, passed away in the early morning hours on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born on July 27, 1959 to R. Cameron & Virginia (Rice) Johnston in Indianapolis, IN. Her parents precede her in death.

      Liz was the CFO & Vice President of Mattingly Concrete Inc., where she had been instrumental in founding it 27 years ago. She had also helped establish & run Just For Starters Inc., & Great Lakes Precast Pots Inc., both previously in Carmel, acting as CFO & President of both companies. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield; & had been active with Meals on Wheels, as well as Agape Therapeutic Riding Academy. She was a 1977 graduate of North Central High School. After graduating high school, her love of the mountains & horses took her to the University of Wyoming where she began her college experience. She was a graduate of the International Equine School of Riding, at Meredith Manor in West Virginia, before graduating from Butler University in 1984. Along with her love for all things, 'plants & animals', Liz loved sailing & all things Lake Michigan & White Lake, MI where she loved to summer with her kids & grandchildren. Her last wish was for everyone to be kind to your animal today.

      She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Daniel Mattingly; children, Hannah Mattingly, William (Erica) Mattingly, & Stan Mattingly; sisters, Christine Johnston, & Mary (Bob) Milne; 2 grandchildren, Kayden & Kylee; & many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

      Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Springmill Road, in Westfield, with Rev. Kevin Haines officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield. - - -
