    1. [S2330] William Singletary.
William Harrison Singletary was born 3-18-1850 near Andersonville, Macon County, Georgia, not Sumpter County and died 5-6-1899 near Sentinel in Washita County, Oklahoma Territory. He married Sarah Emily Looney (born 4-7-1859 in Goodletsville, Davidson County, Tennessee) on 12-9-1877 in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas. Unfortunately, the Brown County courthouse burned in 1880 wiping out their marriage record. The Singletary family stayed in Brown County from 1877 to 1892 before moving to Oklahoma Territory. I do not know William Singletary's movements from Georgia to Texas but they probably took place in the 1870's
