- . 1914 Nov 28 - First Anniversary Celebrated, Mr & Mrs J T Norris who have just moved into their new home, 804 Plant Ave, celebrated this event & also Thanksgiving yesterday with a dinner party. The primary celebration as the first anniversary of their wedding. Dinner guests were Mr & Mrs J P Hamilton, aster George Bruce Hamilton.
. 1916 Nov 30, Thanksgiving at Irwin Academy were held in yesterday morning. As usual the little academy was filled with interested guests. Dutch Son by the school; march by Pilgrims; surprise by Indians, GeorgeBruce Hamilton. The pupils were all costumed. Program pictures were taken & guests & pupils relied favors containing the Thanksgiving ginger bread man.

. 1923 Jun 2 - Sarasota, Capt. Paul Noble of Winter Haven lead a fishing arty. Mr. JP Hamilton, the blind music dealer of Tamp, sons Gerald & Bruce drove down Sunday with &
expecting to go out early Monday morning but stormy weather prevent. Mr. Hamilton counted on becoming a fine tarpon fisherman His tightly developed faculties make him a wonder in the business world would be a bigger asset in match his its in this king of sports.
. 1928 Jan 1, Sun. Geo Bruce Hamilton, a student of the Mount Verde college, is spending his holiday vacation with his parents, J P Hamilton, of Hamilton Heath. He will return Mount Verde tomorrow to resume his studies.
