- HARRIS, EVELYN R. (nee Warden) - On Monday July 4, 2005 the angels rejo iced as another angel had entered their realm when Evelyn passed away p eacefully at Cavendish Manor Retirement Home in her 89th year. Evelyn h as gone to join her late husband Sidney G. Harris. Dear mother of Maril yn and her husband Edward Robertson, Nancy and her husband Peter Craig, E veline and her husband Harry Murfin and Irene and her husband Phillip O sborne. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Barrie (Ros e), Suellen (Deryl), Tom (Karen), Kevin, Joel, Sarah and Emily and grea t-grandchildren Derrick, Stephen and Justin. Beloved sister of Jack War den, the late Jean Diebel, Hazel Raynard, the late Gordon Warden, Kenne th Warden, Joyce Wilson and Betty Warden. She will also be sadly missed b y her several nieces and nephews and by her little dog “Laddie”.
Evelyn will be remembered for her years of commitment as the caretaker a t the old John Marshall School and for her involvement with Grace Gospe l Church as a founding member, with the library and as the caretaker. E velyn had enjoyed living at Fairhaven Apartments for the last twelve ye ar
Friends may call at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5 917 Main Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A s ervice to celebrate her life will take place on Fridayat the funeral ho me at 1:30. Interment will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In memory o f Evelyn, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Gideon M emorial Bibles or to Grace Gospel Church (Library Fund).
