    • A funeral notice in the Toronto Globe and Mail for 18 June, 1942, stated that Laura was a musician, and was well known for her patriotic services - in particular for her work during WW1 in the IODE (Imperial Order of Daughters of the Empire). Participating in her funeral were the president of the University of Toronto and various other well-known Torontonians. Her death notice in the Globe and Mail noted her two brothers Frank H. Brodigan of Russell Hill Road, Toronto and Arthur E. Brodigan of New York.
