Notes - 1916 Dec 28 - Mr Mrs Richard Rogerson celebrated their golden wedding at MapleVila, the residence of their son, H D Roberson & since their old home. Mr Rogerson was born in Innisfield 78 years ago & Mrs Rogerson, whose maiden name was Catherine Willson, was born in the village of Sharon. They have seen the township grow from a wilderness to one of the finest agricultural townships in the country, Mr. Rogerson himself being one of the progressive farmers. They are surrounded at the celebration by heir children & grandchildren & their only surviving birth William Rogerson & received many congratulations from friends near & far. After a presentation & short address a happy gathering was brought to a close by joining hands & singing Auld Land Syne.
