  • Notes
    • She was married in Nafferton (near Great Driffield) in the East Riding of Yorkshire County, England, on Dec.28,1812.
The young couple sailed to America with two young children in 1816/1817 and stayed in New York state for a couple of years where their third child was born. They came into Upper Canada in 1819 and settled on a farm at north half of Lot 32, Con.4 in London Twp., Middlesex County. They acquired the farm from Col. Talbot who supervised the distribution of lots for the incoming settlers. Their remaining seven children were born on the London Twp. farm.

After Thomas' deaths, and on Aug.19,1841 in London, Ann married Richard Thompson (1787-June 24,1858), a widower, who is also buried in Melrose along with Thomas and Ann. In later years, Ann lived with her daughter, Jane Stevens, in Keyser Corners, Adelaide Twp. where she died.
