Dr. Andrew Lightbody, A SOCIAL was held Friday evening at the M.E. Church, 6th Line, Garafraxa. Music played, two speeches, $11.50 was collected for the school Sabbath library.

. 1879 Nov. The Credit Valley Train came through Belwood. ... At that time there were 4 trains a day through Hillsburg station (after Erin) from Elora to the Cataract Junction, about 8 am., back to Elora at noon, down again abut 4 pm and returning about 8 pm. You had to change trains at the Cataract, if going to Toronto or Orangeville.
