      Willam Burton who served his country overseas for the entire period of the World War has been a resident of Kansas City, Mo., since 1920 & is at present visit his mother Mrs Robert Burton, Lot 13, Con 9. Willie as he is known to this Elders Mills School mates & friends in general, will extend his visit to Woodbridge Fair when he will reunite with many friends of long ago.

       Uncle Willie sent $15. home to his Mother and every cheque is dated and numbered.   He enlisted on January 3rd, 1916 and returned home 19??.    And Charles Lawrence Burton another Son of Grandma Burton also enlisted ?????   And Im thinking that they all came home healthy "Thank God".    
      My Dad told me that Grandma Margaret Annie had to hold her right hand with her left hand when she was writing letters to her three Sons and it almost did her in  !!!  Ref: Anna Sheadown, 2019. - - -
