    • Marriage Notice has Denis Ryan's name as "Lewis".
    • On his father's death in 1884 Denis was deeded the farm at Con 5 Lot 36, but did not remain there long.
      In 1891, they lived in Richmond Twp., next door to Nora's widowed mother, Hanora Pilkington.
      By 1901, he is listed as a labourer, then living on college St., Deseronto.
      By 1905, they had moved to Dundas Street.
      After Nora's death, Denis lived for a while with his various children.
