      This is what the death certificate of David Hendry (1820-1887) [father of Catherine Donaldson Hendry m James Fleming] states:

      On 3rd March 1887at West Ferry Parish of Dundee David Hendry widower of Elizabeth Byars aged 67 years died of "acute Ph......itis" 24 days and pneumonia 55 days certified. Certificate states parents to be David Hendry "F... bleacher" (deceased) and Catherine Hendry formerly Donaldson (also deceased). Death registered by David B Hendry present at the death of 18 Union Place.
