      Howse, Thomas, was b. in England, & came to Canada in 1830, set. in Pilkington, on Lots 10 &11, Con. 4, where he owned 160 acres. He lived there until his death about 1886. He is a Methodist & a Liberal, & has held the office of School Trustee. He m. Mary Ann Boulding, who is living, aged 74.
      Issue: John, m. Miss Brown, set. in the North-West; Elizabeth (d.), Mrs. Albert Pike, Victoria B.C.; Mrs. Harry Larter, Guelph Tp; Mrs. Albert Howse in Pilkington; William H., m. Sarah Tuckey, & set. Rainy River Dist.; Jennie (d.), Carrie (d.), Albert E. m. Kate Rudel, set. Guelph, &
