Notes - .1937 Jan 21, Rockwood. The Y.P.S. of the United Church held a successful crokinold the early part of last week. Winners for the ladies & gentleman were Mrs J A Elliott & Misses Elizabeth Hutchinson & Kathleen Taylor, Messrs Edgar Johnston & Wallace Hamilton.
. 1947 Feb 6 Rockwood. As a result of last week's bad storm creating had going on foot & motoring, the township snowplow operated by Edgar & Lloyd Johnston, had hard work combating the hard crust open up the streets in the village, so much so that the truck was temporally out of commission for a few days
