- NOTE 1./ Georgia Cherokee Land Lottery, 1832. Section #50, Eleventh District, Second Section, Cherokee, granted to Alfred Royal, residence # 535 in Dooly County, GA. Participants were allow to enter prior to the first day of January, 1838. Land was located in northern Georgia creating the two northwestern counties. I have no proof Grandfather Alfred ever took possession. 6/24/2002
A Hardy Royal also won 12th District, 2nd Section # 234.
