    • Emigrated to Canada in 1827 according to the book "The "Clan" McClure: Historical Highlights" by J.B. Gilchrist: "Left the boat in New York and other than one letter, not heard from since." However the book also record an 1839 letter from Andrew to the family from Port Huron, Michigan, recounting his life in the USA since he left them.
