  Russell is the son of Marion Willson & Franklin B Hollister. . 1932 Dec 27 - Terms not made public - Jury was ready to Hear testimony. Settlement was made out of court this mining in a suit for damages of $17,000 brought by Russell Hollister, Green Bay, on his own behalf & also as administer of the estate of his wife, against Henry W Gibson, Menasha. Franklin Hollis, son of the plaintiff, also was made a defendant in the case on plea of Gibson. The case was to have been rid before judge Theodore Berg in municipal court & a jury was ready to take testimony when the settlement was made. The terms of the settlement were not made public. Hollister asked damages for the death of his wife & for injury to himself & damage to his car as the result of an accident on a county road about a mile east of Shiocoton in Oct 1931. Mrs. Russell, who was injured in the crash, died later. Hollister & his wife were riding with the son, franklin, going west.Gibson also was driving east when the 2 machines collided. The complaint charged Gibson with careless & negligent driving. Gibson denied liability & asked dismissal of the suit in his answer.
