      1947 Aug 21 - Funeral services Ira Roszel, 78, held Monday from the Johnstone & Rumley funeral Home. Mr Roszel died August 15 in Guelph General Hospital after a short illness. Services were conduct by Rev J M Anderson Known Church, Acton. Interment in Balinafad Cemetery.
      Pall bears grandsons: Harold Roszel & Elmer Roszel, Acton; David Roszel, Guelph, John Niekell, Royal Oak, Mich; Jonn Harding & Roy Harding of Erin Twp.
      Son of the late Mr Mrs George Roszel, Ira Roszel was born in Erin Township & spent his entire life in this district.28 years ago he farmed in Erin Twp. & since that time was employed by J B MacKenzie & Son., Georgetown.
      For the past year he has been living wit his son Bill on Bower Avenue in Acton.

      Predeceased by his wife, Margaret, Mr Roszel is survived by 5 children: George, Guelph, William, Acton, Comfort of Georgetown; Mrs. James Brown (Jannie) of Royal Oak, Mich; Mrs. Victor Harding (Wilda) of Erin Twp. One son Wilfred predeceased him.
