  • Notes
    • In the book "History of the Counties of Argenteuil, Quebec and Prescott, Ontario", by Cyrus Thomas (1896), Peter is said to have lived on the estate of the Duke of Argyle in Scotland. The book also states that Peter first settled with his family on a farm in St. Andrews called "Bellevue", and later moved to a property on the front of Chatham, purchased from a Colonel Daniel Robertson.
