. 1888 Jan 26 - Mountain Land of the Switzer
A most enjoyable evening was spend Tuesday in the lecture room of the Jarvis St. Baptist church, which was crowded to its utmost capacity. A lecture was delivered by Rev Hugh Johnston on "Switzerland," illustrated with the aid of a powerful stereopticon by Mr. F F Whittemore. In addition, a choice musical programme was disposed of. As the general arrangements were supervised by Mr. Whittemore.

Two illustrated lectures by the Rev H Johnston, DD & Rev D G Sutherland, DD, illustrated by Mr. F F Whittemore's stereopticon views. Members of the association are allowed privileges for securing reserved seats for this entire course at $1 each - nom members at $2. each seat.

. 1893 Apr 26 - Rev. Dr. Whithrow's Lecture, under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid society of the Metropolitan Church."Egypt & the Holy land." Dr. Withrow's lecture was illustrated with striking realism by the aid of stereoscope operated by Mr. Whittemore.

. 1895 Feb 15 - Mission Work in India in Assoc. Hall cast a flood light on the great work which is being carried on there in the spread of Christianity & the difficulties which are met with in the propagation of religious truth. The lime-light views, which belonged to Mr. F F Whittemore, were of a most interesting character.

. 1897 Apr 14 - Views of Toronto, A gathering of the Aldermen in the Council Chamber witness & exhibition of stereopticon views by Mr FBW. The affair was got up by Ald. Lamb for the purpose of enabling Council to inspect the view of Toronto which it intended to send to England in response to a request of the Commission of Canada. The programme was materially lengthened by a number of excellent views which Mr. Whittemore threw on the canvas in addition.
