      Andrew Rumgay, son of John Rumgay and Janet Roberston, was baptized on 19 April 1724 in Carnbee, Fifeshire, Scotland. He married Mary Mackie in 1759 in Cameron, Fife. Mary Mackie, daughter of John Mackie and Mary Pitcairn, was baptized on 14 February 1730/31 in Ceres, Fife. Andrew died on 15 November 1798 in Ceres, Fife, Scotland, at age 74. Mary died on 25 April 1815 in Dairsie, Fife, at age 84.
