I, Edward Walker of the City of Guelph in the County of Wellington, Moulder make oath & say that am the the party applying to be appointed administrator of the estate & effects of the said deceased & I am the eldest son.
John S. Walker, deceased, died posses of letters of administration are to be granted of or about the value of $2,000. as I believe.

Humbly Sheweth that John Sibbald Walker, village of Erin, deceased 17 Dec, 1879.
That the said deceased died leaving 6 children & 3 grandchildren who are children of George Walker, deceased. Also a widow is now confined as a lunatic in the Asylum at Toronto & the Petitioner is the eldest son of the said John Sibbald Walker, deceased. That he is possessed of $2,000. to the best of your petitioner's knowledge. The petitioner prays that he may be granted administration of the personal estate.

I Edward Walker of the City of Guelph, moulder, the JSW, Blacksmith, died 17 Dec 1879 leaving his widow Jane Thomson Walker & 6 children & 3 grandchildren who are children of George Walker, deceased.
Died Intestate. That I am the oldest said of the said deceased.
That Jane Thomson Walker his widow of the said deceased & also my mother, is now & for a number of years has been confined as a lunatic in the Asylum at Toronto.
I will faithfully administer the personal estate.

.1905 Aug 15 - Died While Visit Son, Edward Walker, of Guelph, Ont. Succumbed to Typhoid Malaria
Edward Walker, a prominent resident of Guelph, Ont. died at Harper hospital early yesterday morning of typhoid malaria after a week's illness. Just a week ago Mr. Walker came to Detroit with his wife to visit his son, Edward R Work. of Craig, Wright & Was, 25 North Grand Blvd. E. He was ill when he arrived & the next day he was taken to the hospital.
Mr. Walker was 65 years old. He was at one time interested in large iron foundry in Guelph, but retired several years ago He was a prominent Mason & Oddfellow. Besides his widow & son, Edward, he leaves 2 other sons, Wm. J Walker of Columbus, O. & Charles S Walker of Cleveland.
The funeral will be held Wed. afternoon from the residence on the blvd. & interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
