  Johnny was institutionalized at a young age. Norman, his brother, remembered the day it happened. Johnny just started running and Norman went after him and had a hard time finding him. Grandma Bertha explained that it was pressure to the brain that caused Johnny to lose control. He was then hospitalized and placed in an institution for the remainder of his life. Johnny was around 14-15 years of age.
